Highland Horse Sweets is a family run business from the Highlands of Scotland, started in 2022. It began with Emily, who at fifteen put together her love of horses and her love of baking, certain she could make a treat better than anything on the shelf.

So she started baking. Small batches, real ingredients, a molasses shell wrapped around a flavoured centre. Hundreds of test bakes later, she had a recipe that horses come back for again and again.

Four years on we are still a hands on family business. Emily is joined by her parents, Malcolm and Hannah, and together we bake, pack and send every order ourselves, with the same care we would want for our own horses.

We are proud to be family run, and proud of where we come from. As we grow our aim stays simple: to keep raising the bar on what a horse treat can be, and to share a little of the Highlands with every order.

Every new flavour has to pass our chief taste testers, our own horses Katie and Albert. If they are not nudging us for more, it goes back to the kitchen. Only the treats they truly love make it into a bag.
